Angel Light Books and Gifts was established in 1989 by Valencia Chan to provide a tranquil haven for spiritual growth, enlightenment, and healing. The original location in Redwood City, California included a restaurant named Joy Meadow and the Temple of Light above the Angel shop. In 2004, Valencia published Joy Meadow Cookbook, Recipes to Nourish the Body Mind and Spirit. Available through Angel Light Books and Gifts, Joy Meadow cookbook offers a treasure trove of recipes, photographs, short stories and spiritual insights.
Valencia has also created more than 500 products that are made in house such as Archangels, Ascended Masters and Goddess candles, aroma mist and anointing oils. After years of teaching classes in astrology and tarot, she offers gift items based on those themes. Her home made crystal jewelry are inspired by her Crystal Message Cards and Crystal Blessing Cards published by US Games.
