The Redwood City location established in 1989, was a 7500 square feet building that included Joy Meadow Restaurant, Angel Light Books and Gifts and the Temple of Light.
The award winning recipes for the restaurant are featured in the Joy Meadow Cookbook: Recipes to Nourish Body, Mind and Spirit. Available at Angel Light Books and Gifts.
In addition to recipes, Joy Meadow Cookbook is chockful of metaphysical principles and spiritual insights.
The original Angel Light Books and Gifts location in Redwood City was a 1200 square feet space filled to the rafters with a treasure trove of metaphysical books and inspirational gifts.
Featured in the store were books about Holistic Health and creating sacred gardens. Tucked behind the Angel Shop was a secret garden where the flower fairies play.
A second story was added to accomodate the Temple of Light, a 2000 square feet nondenominational center devoted to classes, workshops, readings and healings.
Fairy Festivals and Healing events drew people far and wide to our center.
